Our story about pralines

Once upon a time, we opened the Q Burger bar in Jablonec nad Nisou, which quickly became a favorite spot for gourmets. It was the customers of the burger bar who inspired us to offer something sweet. Cakes were too bulky, and classic chocolate was too ordinary. As natives of a city with a rich tradition of jewelry, we asked ourselves: why not combine the art of our ancestors with chocolate? Why couldn't chocolate look like a glass jewel? And so pralines were created, paying homage to the glass beads of Jablonec with their design.

The shelf life of our pralines is eight to ten weeks, but they taste best fresh. The secret of their exceptional taste lies in the fact that we do not use any preservatives or artificial additives in their production. We believe that a praline should taste of the ingredients we carefully select for it.

If we use vanilla, it's the best from Madagascar. Our hazelnuts come from Piedmont, almonds from Avola, and pistachios from Bronte, where only one percent of the world's production is grown at the foot of Etna, but it's the highest quality. And what can be sourced here, we take from local sources, like lavender from a farm in Raspenava in the foothills of the Jizera Mountains, which is flawless, and sea buckthorn from a farm near Turnov. Our chocolate comes from Michel Cluizel, one of the last family-owned chocolate factories in France, which for four generations has been committed to the careful selection of cocoa beans with regard to fair trade.

Our pralines are also unique in their design. Each one is inspired by the glass beads that were produced in the Jablonec nad Nisou area in the last century. We draw inspiration from old sample books, whether from the seventies and eighties or even more than 120 years old.
